We have been going to Prairie State Veterinary Clinic for over 26 years and we have always felt they delivered exceptional and compassionate care to our dogs, and once again they did not disappoint , they went above and beyond , last Saturday we were bringing in our 2 yr old German Shepherd for an appointment , when my son opened the door to get her out she uncharacteristically bolted and ran down 159th st into traffic , my son ran after her , but also happen to have the car keys, when I went into the clinic to ask for help one of the techs Giselle didn’t even hesitate, she took me in her car for what I thought was going to be to get my car keys from my son and she ended up driving me around helping me look for our dog for over an hour, there were also some other animal loving angels that my son had come across while he was looking, also helped out in the search, when we finally found her , Giselle was kind enough to give us ride back to the clinic. I am pretty sure the clinic was already closed and Dr Norton was packed up to go home , but they were great and checked out our dog , from her cut up paws from her travels to her ear infections which were the original reason we were bringing in for. We’ve been using Prairie State veterinary clinic for many years and multiple dogs. Dr. Tassone has always been great to work with appreciate her guidance. Techs Ashley and Liz are both absolutely fantastic. They are always so gentle and compassionate with my pet and take the time to answer all my questions clearly without rushing. You can tell they truly care about their customers and animals!

Our family has been fortunate to have Prairie State as our clinic for over 13 years taking care of our cats ( Bob, Maggie, Charlotte, Tommy) and all of our dogs (Sadie , Charles, Pete, Vinnie and Mikey). We trust Drs.Tassone, Miculinic, Treat, and Norton at Prairie State to take care of our furry babies with annual checkups, diagnoses and treatment. They are the best. In addition, all of the techs and front desk people are professional and treat our animals with kind and gentle handling. It gives our family peace of mind to know that our animals will always have the very best treatment possible.

My wife and I take our three dogs to Prairie State Veterinary Clinic. We have two GSPs and a French Bulldog. All we can say is that it is an absolute pleasure working with Dr. Treat, Bailey, and Tiarris. They are all extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, and do a fantastic job of explaining things and providing options. They always have smiles on their faces, are very welcoming, and are happy to see our dogs. We appreciate their hard work and attentiveness to us and our dogs. Highly recommend.
