Femme is by far one of the best places I’ve ever had my hair done at! A few weeks ago I went on the website to book a consultation. Femme got back to me within 5 or 10 minutes to book my consult. The receptionist had me send a photo of my hair (it was bad.. really bad) and I was told a day to come in for the consultation in Orland. The day my husband and I went in for the consult I walked through the door and was immediately met smiles and a warm welcome from who I learned was Meg and other stylists. Meg had me come over to her chair and we began talking about the process to fix my hair. We also decided to add 24 inch extensions. Meg said we could go ahead and order the hair and she was confident it would match. We booked for 1 weeks out and she even had my hair rushed so I could be done in one day. A week passes and it was time for my appointment. Meg had her assistant Danielle helping her apply bleach for the color correction. What seems like should’ve been a longer process went by so fast between the talking joking and getting to know each other. There was also a baby in there and I always say “Anywhere that allows babies, is a place for me to shop at” (there was a baby in the corner and the receptionist put on a tv show just for him to keep him company! 🥹) We decided half way through that we would turn me around for the second half so I couldn’t see my transformation. By this time I was getting my hair rinsed. Meg turned to me and said “hey, we have a girl in training for lashes, if you’d like we can do them for free to go along with your transformation”. Of course I said yes. By this time, Grace a change of assistant helped with the extensions process and put on my lashes. I’ve had lashes done before but Grace was so gentle with the application process! I’m still wearing them today and it’s been 4 days! Once the extensions were in I turned around and couldn’t believe I was looking at myself in the mirror. I was beautiful, more beautiful than before. Meg took me up to the front and asked if I would come and do a spray tan for Grace and I said Heck yeah! The next day I went in for a spray tan with Grace at the Tinley park location. Let me say, I’ve again, had spray tans before. Grace had me get undressed to my comfort and helped me put on the feet protectors and hair net. Grace continued to walk me through the positions and made sure she got everything. The solution they use makes a flawless tan. It was so evenly applied, my skin looked perfectly sun kissed. In summary, this is by far the best experience I’ve had at a salon. Not only was Meg warm and welcoming but she was teaching her assistants through my transformation process teaching tricks and tools to be successful beauticians.
