I can not say enough good things about this salon and its staff. As a white father I had zero experience with natural hair before I met my daughter. I was panicked and terrified to mess it up or not be able to manage and maintain it. This salon makes my daughter feel amazing, and educates me with proper care needs and recommends products to get me through until our next appointment. My daughter loves seeing women who look like her taking care of her hair and she loves seeing them help me get the answers I need. Jonathan is very skilled and expertly helped us to calm our son who was afraid of his first haircut (he's 2). Everyone was so nice and really made the experience a nice one. My family really likes my son's haircut and I hope to come again soon!

Great place. I learn just from watching the artists do their work. They make the kids feel comfortable and confident. I like that they've recognized a need in our community and are providing a service to meet that need. Crystal braided my son's hair and he seemed comfortable through the detangle and braiding process. He loved his hair after!!!Also, there are great stores, coffee shops, food places steps away for parents who's kids can sit by themselves.
