As a woman, I prefer going to a female massage therapist. It's more comfortable for me. It takes a lot of trust to go to a male massage therapist. I decided to take the chance after reading Rick's reviews. I'm glad I did. He was welcoming and made me feel at ease and comfortable. The massage was excellent! He focused on the problem areas I mentioned but not at the neglect of everything else. The level of pressure was just as I requested and I felt so relaxed when I left. I even booked another massage with him. Definitely recommend.

I had some mobility issues with my shoulder as well as severe tightness in my neck and hips. When I tell you my mobility has greatly improved- it would be an understatement. Prior to visiting, I could not raise my right hand above my head. By the second session, my hand could - without pain- raise. It’s also important to note that as an Black woman, I feel completely safe. And that’s not always true in spaces where the practitioner is of a different, race and/or ethnicity. In this space we’re two humans healing, and I love that. This should be the last review you read. Go make the appointment.

Rick was kind and welcoming to me as this was my first time receiving a massage. He asked about my lifestyle and how it effected my body. He listened and pinpointed the areas that needed extra tlc. The space is clean and peaceful and I felt relaxed and reset during and after my session!
