A female client felt at ease with the female massage therapist and appreciated the focus on her problem areas without neglecting the rest of her body. Another client, an African American woman, felt completely safe in the space, noting that this is not always the case in other settings. Clients have reported significant improvements in mobility and reduction in tightness after their sessions. Many reviewers mention that the therapists are kind, attentive, and experienced, helping clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated during and after their visits.

Recently added reviews highlight Rick, a skilled therapist who listens carefully to clients’ needs and concerns. One client praised Rick for alleviating jaw tension caused by grinding and clenching, leaving them feeling much lighter. Another shared that Rick's expertise helped ease chronic pain, headaches, jaw pain, and shoulder discomfort through targeted techniques, including mouth massage with gloves. A long-term client recounted starting sacral-cranial work with Rick nearly 25 years ago for a slipped disc and nerve compression in the neck. Rick correctly identified the source of pain and provided relief, resulting in years of being pain-free.

Overall, Massage Therapy of Oak Park continues to be a trusted place for effective, personalized massage therapy in a peaceful environment.
