Based on the reviews, Crystal Tailors & Cleaners is a business run by a lovely couple. They provide excellent work on alterations, repairs, cleaning, and dry cleaning. Customers appreciate the great attention to detail and friendly service. The owners are described as nice and welcoming people. One customer was impressed that the owner remembered them without asking for a name, giving a small town feel. Repairs on items like a leather jacket, jeans, and a bridal gown have exceeded expectations. Another customer had a wonderful pocket repair done on an old peacoat. All work has been excellent and on time. Customers highly recommend their services for any repairs on worn clothing and will easily be coming back.
I dropped off my white dress that was too big on me and had to be hemmed for an event. I asked the owners to do whatever they could to fix my dress in such a short notice and they exceeded my expectations! It fit me perfectly and I would recommend their store to anyone that needs alterations!
I don’t know how they do it but my husband and I have only used them twice and it was separated by weeks. When I walked in the 3rd time he didn’t even ask my name. He knew exactly who I was. I asked “do you need my number?” He said “no sir - I know you now”. I love that small town feel we get with this business.
They are a lovely couple - bring your stuff here!
Today I picked up a couple articles of clothing I’d dropped a week or two prior.
I had a leather jacket with a bad tear right near the seam, and a torn up pair of jeans.
The owners, a man and his wife, were inviting but hesitant about the jeans as they were not worth much to begin with. They gave me a quote and though it was more than I expected, I felt that they would probably do a good job getting it fixed.
I am happy to say that the repairs on my leather jacket and jeans have exceeded my expectations. It was definitely worthwhile. If I could give 6 stars I would. I could be more pleased and will be doing business with them again.
