Heather was absolutely incredible when I needed last-minute boarding help for my dog. She went above and beyond, showing genuine care, compassion, and understanding—not just for me, but for my dog too. Even though I ultimately didn’t go with this hospital because family was able to step in, Heather left such a strong impression that I will definitely consider Preiser in the future because of her. The staff and the pets there are truly lucky to have someone like her. Thank you, Heather, for being such a kind and caring human.

My mother in law and I took my fiancé's cat here today and I was blown away by the level of experience. Amanda came in first and was so friendly with Mitzy and really handled her with care. She was so amazing! Dr. Silvana Beloiu was great at explaining everything. Mitzy had a steroid shot, antibiotic shot and a nebulizer treatment and they did such a phenomenonal job! They really cared about Mitzy which made me feel better! Thank you so much for taking care of Mitzy!

My family had been going to Preiser for well over 30 years and have been happy with their care and services. I’m well aware that the cost of owning a pet has increased substantially and with that, vet care has also increased dramatically. I’m not upset about the price of their services but rather the lack of accountability. I was on my way to an appointment with my pup for her cytopoint shot, when we unfortunately were involved in an accident. My car was out of commission for weeks and my dog continued to scratch herself raw with no way of getting to the vet because they are not open on weekends or past 5:30 pm, which is a whole other issue, and she could not be in my rental. I called and explained and they agreed to dispense the cytopoint shot to me to administer at home, which I appreciated immensely, but upon pickup no instructions were given on handling, shelf-life, administering, etc to either myself on the phone or my dad when he physically picked it up. Without this information, I could’ve improperly given my dog a shot that was ineffective because unbeknownst to me at the time, once drawn up in the vial it is recommended by the manufacturer to administer it immediately or within 30 minutes. Instead of owning up to the lack of proper communication about a drug, they wanted me to pay 50% of another shot and refused to admit any wrongdoing, even after the manufacturer confirmed it should’ve been given right away. At this point, we have switched to a new vet because I was baffled they would treat anyone this way, let alone a client that has been loyal to them for so long, traveling 45+ minutes both ways and taking off work so my dog could be seen by them. On top of that, in our research process of switching vets, every single one firmly told me they would never give a cytopoint shot to administer at home because of the possibility of improper handling - Preiser very well could’ve told me, “I’m sorry for your situation but unfortunately, that’s not possible” rather than giving me an injection with no information and then refusing to take any accountability for a medication they chose to dispense. We loved our time there, especially tech Amanda who always went above and beyond to make my scared Bailey comfortable and happy, and we will miss her greatly, but I can’t continue to give my money and time to a business that lacks ownership and basic responsibility. I am not saying to not go there, but consider my experience and shop around before committing.

The staff is caring and so efficient. I have been dealing with my dog Stanley and his issues. Dr. Beloiu for a while now and she is amazing. Compassionate very intelligent and a really good person. I have been very pleased with everything.

I recently started taking my two big doodles to Preiser Animal Hospital. They have been seen both veterinarians, Dr. Beloiu and Dr. Preiser; they are amazing! They really take their time with your pet and you never leave feeling rushed. Their staff is just as amazing! I highly recommend Preiser's for your animals.
