While cleaning up last night, the sinks suddenly became totally clogged. Plunging not only did not work, it blew out the P-trap under the sink and then we had water everywhere! I called Mergenthaler Plumbing this morning and they were able to get Edin out to me this afternoon.
He quickly diagnose the problem (goofy, poorly fitting tubes, caulked together under the sink!), and he’s was able to fix the problem easily. Also identified why our dishwasher wasn’t draining completely.
So wonderful to have my kitchen back in less than 24 hours!

In 10 years in living in the area, finding a reliable plumber has been a challenge for me. Mergenthaler was recommended by a friend and I have used them twice. Once for a minor toilet issue and to replace the main shutoff valve in our home. Both times, the team at Mergenthaler has done a great job. They do a great job educating their customers. Both Mike via the phone and Christian in person were really invested in making sure I understood what they were doing, how plumbing works, and how problems occur. Their work quality matches their knowledge and I'm glad to have found them. I look forward to using them again in the future.

Great service! I spoke to Mike at Mergenthaler at 8am about our overflowing toilet. He had a crew at our house by 10am. The plumber David and his brother quickly assessed our problem and fixed it. They also discovered aging components in our toilets, which we authorized them to fix. Highly recommended!
