I brought my mom here for her birthday. Bad idea. The staff seemed disorganized and they rushed through everything. The staff Elena recommended these products that we know aren’t for her skin type but she condescendingly insisted she was right. Pretty sure it’s just this location. Other ones seemed better managed.

I went to hand & stone Northbrook location on 6/15/2025 for a 50 minute massage with Alla. This was my first time at hand & stone. I have been to massage envy and heavenly massage before. Alla was a fantastic masseuse! I have a lot of tension in my neck/shoulder and she knew exactly which pressure points to hit and how to massage in that area to relieve the tightness. I felt amazing after the massage. I would 10/10 recommend Alla. The facility was also clean and very relaxing. The front desk and Alla offered me water.

Do NOT get a membership here!! I’ve been calling for a month to try and cancel since I had 4 unused massages on my account, and every time they said the manager will have to call you back. It’s been 3/4 weeks and I finally got a call today and was told I have to pay for ANOTHER month because of their policy. The manager Jamie was extremely rude and I said I would dispute the charge, so they charged me a week early! This place is a scam and will avoid returning calls to keep collecting money.

I was really relaxed after my spa day yesterday I got massage and facial. I really appreciate both of the ladies and recommend if you have a lot of stress you can get relaxed and forgets about everything.

I agreed to a monthly subscription. After missing several paid sessions because of my business schedule, I called to cancel or pause until I catch up using them. I was never explained that I had to keep paying even if I had 11 unused sessions and had no idea how i was going to catch up using them. I was called today and told that I needed to start paying for my monthly subscription again. I said that i needed to use my paid session (10) equivalent to $800. They didn't let me. So I lost my money and they lost my business.

This was my first experience at Hand and Stone in Northbrook. Both Maria (Front desk) and Kyle (masseuse) were AMAZING! I definitely felt extremely comfortable as soon as I stepped foot into the spa! It was absolutely wonderful! ?

I usually never leave reviews but I had my first facial with Nicki, and it was a complete letdown. The service was disorganized and rushed, and it felt like she didn’t care at all about the quality of the treatment. The products used left my skin irritated, and the entire experience was a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend Nicki to anyone looking for a professional facial!

I just got a Himalayan stone Swedish massage from Colleen and I released so much tension. Wow! I signed up for the monthly membership for self-care. I highly recommend this place!!
