From the moment you walk into the studio, you are warmly greeted by smiling faces and welcoming words! That alone lowers any anxiety you feel and is actually comforting. The instructors are all accomplished professional dancers, and their passion for dance is obvious and contagious. So, if you have always loved to dance, like me, or whether you think you are hopeless and have 2 left feet, I urge you to try it at least a few times. You’ll see why everyone loves to be there. It’s a place where you can be yourself, relax, dance, laugh, smile, and have fun. Thank you, FADS of Northbrook!
I started competitive ballroom dancing at Fred Astaire Studios, Northbrook location.
I began in February. I joined first for exercise and the love of music.
I am so hooked on this program!
It’s important for your mind to learn new things and for your body to stretch. The instructors are amazing and it’s run by an excellent, top notch management and owners.
You do not need a dance partner to join The studio. You will be dancing with an instructor as your partner.
The dancing has returned a smile to my face and now I can’t stop smiling ☺️

The instructors are all accomplished professional dancers, and their passion for dance is obvious and contagious. Each one exudes genuine warmth, care, respect, and kindness.
