There must be angels here. Angie, Susan, Savannah, and many more members of the care team must have a hard time hiding their wings. I felt human, heard, and now I'm leaving better. I spent five days here, and as I leave 4/15 I feel better than I did 1/1/2024. They fixed me, they advocated for me, and they took care of me. I leave today knowing where I will go every time from now on, and who I'll be telling everyone else to go to. I came from two OSF stays behind me where at the end of them I was 130 pounds and crawling to the bathroom. I leave dancing. I've only had good experiences here. Only complication has been when they didn't receive an order, so you gotta figure that out. Otherwise, like the registration and lab staff.

I had to go to the ER yesterday, January the 29th for shortness of breath associated with gastrointestinal hemorrhage unknown source. The triage nurse was thorough and leveled me properly. The nurse and tech were in the room as soon as I arrived to the room to assess me and get me ready for the Dr to examine me. The nurse initiated an IV and started IV drip at a KVO rate. Tests were ordered. I was treated very well!! Finally treated by a staff of professionals. Not like the other hospital in town filled with new grads and inexperienced staff. I will definitely make THIS ER and hospital the one to come to in an emergency.
