Focus Eye Care offers a pleasant experience with thorough eye exams. The team, now led by a new doctor after Dr. Dawson sold the practice in August, remains friendly and professional. They provide patient-centered care, taking extra time with elderly patients and explaining everything in simple terms. Patients appreciate the caring staff, especially Veronica, who helps select frames by pulling up manufacturer’s catalogs and assists with adjustments for comfort. Many customers have purchased glasses here and found the staff helpful and accommodating. The practice is also praised for making appointments easy to schedule, often for the very next day. While some mention a fee of $59 for retinal scans before procedures, overall, the staff is described as very nice and helpful. Despite some changes in the doctor, the front desk team continues to offer professional service, making Focus Eye Care a recommended destination for all eye care needs.

Purchased a pair of glasses here. The staff and the doctors are extremely caring and helpful!
Wanted a specific style of frame , and this was not on their display - so, Veronica pulled up the manufacturer’s catalog and helped select and order additional frames so that there were more choices. Was able to pick one that felt just right! Very happy with the purchase!
Stopped by today to have these frames adjusted for comfort, and again found everyone very helpful, accommodating and professional. Veronica carefully helped adjust the fit of the frame in a matter of minutes!

If you’re someone who hasn’t seen your eye doctor in decades (like I was) then Focus is the best place for you
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Karovic. Even though I was intimidated at first because it had been so long since my last exam - she made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and was super personable from start to finish
The exam was thorough but Dr. Karovic still made every step of the exam easy for me to understand how healthy my vision actually was & what I could do to make it better

Dr. Dawnson sold this practice in August and no longer works here. The new doctor seems ok, but that’s not who I set up an appointment to see so I’m frustrated because I was really looking forward to this.
Additionally, they do not warn you about charging $59 for your retinal scan before doing the procedure so just prepare financially for that.
The attached picture is the cheapest option for frames and ups still looking at $30 with insurance, not including any lens updates.
The front desk staff and the new doctor are very nice and helpful, so perhaps this may be a good fit for your next visit. It just was not what I had expected and selected.
