How can I even begin to express my gratitude for this company? I had a dream to wear the dress my mom wore to marry my dad in 1980, which was her grandmother’s graduation dress from around the year 1914! About 110 years old! My mom danced so hard at her wedding all the buttons ripped and it had also accumulated a large stain and general discoloring over the years. It is such a special dress with such intricate and delicate crocheting (some of which was done by hand by my grandmother before my mom’s wedding), we weren’t sure the fabric would make it through a cleaning attempt. Looking online I wasn’t sure if anyone would even touch it since it was so old. We brought it in to Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners and crossed our fingers. We were absolutely AMAZED with the results. The dress looked PERFECT. The color was revived to its original beauty, all stains were gone, and they repaired the back buttons perfectly. And they lasted all night through MY crazy dancing! I seriously cannot begin to say how much this meant to my mom and I. It was so special to get to wear the dress that my mom wore when she married my dad. Huge thank you to Steve and the whole team, you did something so so special for our family.
