If you are reading this you are probably looking for a new dentist and may be stressing out. That was me about a week ago. During Covid, dental care was one of those things that I just put off. I didn’t really like my current dentist but I felt overwhelmed by the idea of having to find a new one. Then, some sudden and extreme tooth pain meant I could wait no longer. After reading some reviews and doing other research I decided to try Smile Obsession in Naperville. Let me just reassure you – this place is the real deal. For my first visit earlier this week, I started with a cleaning by Lindsey. What stood out about her is that she really cares about what she does and takes genuine pride in doing it. Several times throughout the cleaning she would stop and say that she needed to go back and get a spot to make sure the job was done right. She also was very focused on my well being and often asked how I was doing through the process. Then I had x-rays and met with Dr. Pagel and Dr. Escarria. They reviewed the images with me and answered my questions. Then they went over my treatment plan. Both of them were extremely friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I will need a few visits to take care of the issues with my teeth. My fault. I returned today for a root canal which was performed by Dr. Pagel and assisted by Vanessa. It was the same kind of experience. A lot of care and thoroughness. After these two visits I am completely comfortable endorsing this practice, and feel like I’ve found a hidden gem.
