Working with Ron of Egghead Computers was a great experience! He helped me troubleshoot before I even brought the computer in. After I had exhausted the options that were in my capabilities, I brought him the tower, (He offered to pick it up! I just was already heading his way for other things),
and he quickly figured out the exact problem, made 100% sure everything was good and was working smoothly, helped me get a replacement part for an amazing deal, and then delivered the tower to my house. Ron was super easy to work with, great with communication, and very knowledgeable. I happily recommend him to anyone needing help with their computer!

It is getting more difficult to find a good computer repair shop in Southern Illinois; fortunately I found Egghead Computers. Need to have a laptop have a hard drive replaced and backed up. Not only did they get back to me quickly when I left a message, but they came and picked up my laptop and then returned it when promised. Also, the cost was very reasonable and great service. Would definitely recommend Egghead Computers.

Working remotely, this was my first time not having access to an internal IT department to ask questions. I had heard that Ron Lacy did great work but did not expect him offering to come to the house the next day! He pinpointed the problem quickly and took the desktop back to his workshop. He called me every step of the way with updates. Unfortunately, and no surprise, my computer was a goner. THEN he helped me shop for a replacement, retrieved my data for the new computer and the price was very reasonable. I'm so happy to know that he's here to help when things go awry with my tech. Such a difference than trying to work with the big box stores.
