I drove out to his facility where he masterfully re-established the functionality of the hinges by replacing, tightening and bonding the screws. He did the repair on the spot in a little less than an hour and under $100. I had a clear idea ahead of time of what the different scenarios might be and I always felt an unusual desire on his part to keep the costs as low as possible.
