Actually I loved working here but the channahon boss cost ya a star.. he tried several ways to fire me so that it didn’t appear he let me go because of a spinal cord injury disability I had when they hired me.. he fired me for apparently falsifying documents saying I edited my logs to show I was at work longer one day than I really was.. not a bright guy as all H R would have to do is look at my second log in on the other app we use.. it would of shown I was there.. we had to log in at G&D portal and sign for Rivian … I have a text from him sayin if I ever need my logs edited because the truck I was sharing wasn’t always back on time that he would edit the logs.....read full review
I was an outside carrier making a delivery to a warehouse on G&D property on a Friday late afternoon. Had some trouble on their lot and with the delivery. Every G&D employee I came across was extremely helpful. In the end the head honcho was getting in his personal vehicle to head home for the weekend but took the time to get me on my way first so I could get home too. Good people.
Our company KIG trucking (Kristian Logistics) booked a load with G&D Transportation Brokerage Inc, and while we were on the load we had unexpected truck issue 3h away from the delivery, truck needed to go to repair immediately.Broker that we booked a load with (Victoria Deaton) was very helpful and supported us on this matter and when we found out that this is hot load and that it needs to get to the receiver by midnight or the facility will stop working, Charlie Sellers jumped in and tried his best to help us on this and repower the load, as brokers had no luck in doing that, we kept in contact with G&D team and Charlie and decided to deliver this load as soon as the...read full review
