A couple of them have been there for as long as I've been going there, so there's a lot of combined experience there. Once, when I was compelled to change insurance I had to go somewhere else because Bard wasn't on the plan. I hate it when insurance carriers do that, but I'll get off my soapbox now! “I have had numerous eye exams in my life. I am almost 68 years old. By far and I mean BY FAR...the best eye exam I have ever received came from the Washington, Illinois Walmart! The employees there gave me a personal, professional exam 2nd to NONE. They have real feeling's for your eye health and the patient! You will not leave unsatisfied! FORGET the eye exam providers that treat you like you are on a conveyor belt service and not an individual !“

“Went in for my routine eye exam with Dr. Jennifer Wilson. I've had a "speckle" inside my right eye for many years. Dr. Wilson became very concerned because the speckle had changed color and size. Her concern was that it had possibly become an Ocular Melanoma. She fast tracked me to the University of Iowa Hospital Ophthalmology Department. After many tests at the U of I, the Ocular Oncologist concern had dropped considerably. The two doctors I saw at the University of Iowa praised Dr. Jennifer Wilson highly, the fantastic job she did catching the change in my eye. I go back to the U of I in 4 months for a recheck just to make sure nothing has changed. I appreciate Dr. Jennifer looking out for me, she's a wonderful doctor who cares for her patients.P.S. - this entire process between Dr. Jennifer and the University of Iowa all happened in a week! Absolutely phenomenal service yesterday. Didn’t get great service from another Walmart and switched to this one. The guy behind the desk, Michael, was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and great to work with. He laid out all my options and knew everything about everything: the eyes work, prescriptions, contacts, lens coatings, etc. I came in there just looking for contacts but I came out with an education and I’m extremely satisfied with my options moving forward, especially on payments and savings and insurance and things like that. I will be returning within 30 days to use my discount on glasses. You are hiring the right kind of people and you training them very well!“
