Great shop! Amazing work. Eric can draw anything you can think up. I've wanted an eagle and flag tattoo for a while. I'm glad I went to him. Going back for more work soon.

Didn’t prep skin or sanitize, crooked nipple piercings and after telling the owner Eric I need titanium he said “steel is fine your nipples aren’t as sensitive to nickel as ears” cross threaded jewelry. My friend went back because hers were messed up too, and again after telling him we need titanium he just used the same jewelry he originally used in the piercing and we had to cut ours to get them out due to cross threading and allergic reaction. I wasn’t about to give them a descend chance after my friend did and was still messed up after going back. He responded to this review saying they only use titanium but in person and on facebook responses they say they use steel

i have wanted this tattoo to honor my late father since i was 16 years old. my dad loved the song free bird by lynyrd skynyrd. erik the tattoo artist was so nice to even play that song while he tattooed me which was so special to me. erik brought a vision that i have had for years to life. he really made sure he was gonna tattoo exactly what i wanted. such a cool guy and a phenomenal artist. also such great pricing! the lady at the front desk was sweet as well, very welcoming! would highly recommend this place to someone and i will definitely be going back!

I got my piercings done at this shop in Marseilles, IL, and it was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I paid $150, told the piercer I was allergic to stainless steel, and that my piercings wouldn’t heal in it. He ignored me and still used stainless. I wasn’t prepped for a piercing at all….no sanitizing skin or anything. Red Flag.
One piercing had to be replaced, and then the other piercing was giving me problems and at this point I WASNT GOING BACK THERE then he cross-threaded the jewelry, leaving it stuck in my body. I had to cut the barbell out myself (that wasn’t cheap) because the ends wouldn’t unscrew. That’s traumatic, dangerous, and completely unacceptable.
This shop used to be Purple Monkey in Morris, and now they’ve relocated to Marseilles—but it’s still the same people doing unsafe work.
Don’t go here. Don’t trust them with your body. I’m warning others so you don’t go through what I did. Wasn’t worth it. I wasn’t going to review these people but after everything I went through pain and suffering I had to review them. It was just a lot of money for very unprofessional work with too many issues… now I have titanium jewelry in and they already feel tons better.

I've been more then patient with this place, after 5 sessions and eric the owner completely botching up a tattoo... I would advise you to stay away, shane (who's great) was able to somewhat fix it... eric tried using every excuse as to why this tattoo is not his mistake, again 4 sessions and thankfully shane just started there able to somewhat fix his mistake...very unprofessional between talking about his personal life and how he would have take someone out with a machette after they got in a fight whoever he was on phone with, while there's teen girls in the shop they dont need to hear his bs either, couldn't even apologize for messing up. Definitely stay away from this place unless Shane is available ( no longer available)! The first photo is what I went in with for a reference, the second is what eric left me with after 3 sessions, the last one is what shane was able to fix it up. After contacting him again he's very nice on the phone about his hardships because I asked how we could we correct this but still likes to throw blame about how it just didn't heal correctly.... clearly it shouldn't have taken 4 sessions and still offered me to see Jake his other artist, which I declined I already seen one of his artists on the 5th try and paid that artist as well! So I asked if I could contact a artist of my choice and before I had work done give him a estimate. He said he couldn't afford it... I shouldn't have to live with what was supposed to be a tribute to my children, but turned out such a eyesore sadly. Pics aren't uploading so I will upload on yelp and marseille page

This is THE BEST place to get tattoos/piercings. I’ve gotten multiple tats and piercings here. Super clean environment, family friendly, and the employees/owners are very talented. I would never go anywhere else. They can take any tattoo idea and make it a unique masterpiece. Pricing is very reasonable. If you want high quality service and amazing designs in a calming environment this is THE place to be.
