The stories you can find at Grandmaster’s dojang are incredible. Martial arts is an incredibly powerful tool for self-image, to watch the positive impact that it’s had on so many different people is amazing. This school has a family-like feel to it. The classes are relatively smaller and students get a hands-on experience with instructors and senior belts. It also operates as a ‘gym membership’ in the sense that there’s classes every single day, and you can show up when you can make it. It’s impossible not to make a class. We’re so happy to have found this place! We recently enrolled my 5 year old hoping it would help with his low confidence and anxiety. It’s only been a few weeks and I feel like we’re already seeing a lot of positive changes. He loves it and is excited to go and all the instructors have been very encouraging and patient.
I also started doing the Saturday women’s self defense classes and it is SO much fun! Definitely something I’ll be sticking with as well!
Grandmaster Spellious is great with kids of all ranges. He has the patience of a saint! That being said, him and all the other fellow instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable on how to handle all kinds of learning archetypes for students
