THE BEST. I travel over an hour (each way!) to get my hair done by Erika. I first went to Erika when she was at a salon 5 minutes from my house. I had been highlighting my hair for 20 years and many different salons. I always had damage from highlighting and to combat the damage I tried everything - expensive shampoos, olaplex, satin pillow cases, washing less, not putting in ponytails, you name it. I tried doing a base bump in between each highlight appointment. Nothing worked. I originally went to Erika for cuts for a year and she would try to clean up the damage from highlighting. Love, love, love...my hair, my color, the consultative, intelligent approach and highly trained skill set that Erika honed and perfected at a high end salon and brings to us here in the Southland! In particular, her skill not just at cutting technique but also color...and maybe as importantly, her lovely, confident, professional demeanor. She is really talented and incredibly knowledgeable. She is great with color and curly hair, and if you're an alpaca like me you know that not everyone "gets" how to cut and blow out curly hair. If you want to do something radical with you hair color Erika is your girl! She transformed my hair to this amazing multiple hues of blue and I'm loving it! On a daily basis up to this day no matter where I go I get compliments left and right and it's been almost a year since I made this transformation. Even elderky men will approach me and tells me how my hair looks so natural having blue hair. The coolest reaction I got was when I passed by a group of kindergartners and their sincere reactions of "oooohhhh", "wooookw ", "she looks like a mermaid/superhero" tickled my heart.
