Even though we only recently started coming to this clinic, I immediately felt comforted by how kind and compassionate Dr. Wolfe was. She treated my 13-year-old senior dog with such gentleness and patience, and I truly trusted her.
That’s why what happened at one of our visits was so heartbreaking for me. A vet tech handled my senior dog in a way that caused her immediate pain. She was already fragile, moving slower, needing more help — and in that moment she was handled without the softness she deserved. After that visit, she couldn’t bear weight on her leg anymore. Everything went downhill from there, and she never recovered.
Adding to the heartbreak, when I returned with her immediately after the injury, we were still charged for the visit. Given the circumstances, that was difficult to understand and made an already emotional situation feel even heavier.
I’m not writing this out of anger, but out of grief and honesty. Losing a senior dog is already heartbreaking, but carrying the weight of feeling like she suffered because of how she was handled is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I still want to make it clear that Dr. Wolfe herself was wonderful. She truly cared. My hope is simply that every staff member will show that same level of gentleness, especially with older pets who are vulnerable, scared, and deserving of patience.
I’m sharing this because I would never want another family to go through what we did. Senior pets deserve to feel safe in every pair of hands that touches them.

Dr. Wolfe is amazing. She and her staff are EXTREMELY professional, kind and patient. We have been a client of hers since 2019. They have provided the BEST care for our Yorkie. Please clean the patient rooms. The floor and beneath the exam table were absolutely filthy with hair. It completely stressed my cat out and caused respiratory concerns for my husband and I.Fast service and friendly desk staff.
