I had the pleasure to visit Schilke store and Bennett that is a terrific person. He help me with everything. Bennett from the 1st minute tried make me feel like home. He show me trumpets and let me try some of the finest models of Schilke trumpets.
After he showed me the back place of the company that creates the brass instruments. I saw by myself that everything is hand-made and the quality is TOP.
So I want to thank Bennett for his kindness and help. And to say that Schilke was, is and it will be the TOP trumpet company. I hope to visit again one day
I bought my first Schilke Trumpet in College (Stetson University) over 50 years ago (yes, I still play it). I bought a Schilke flugelhorn last fall (2025). I am absolutely delighted with this horn. It plays so very well. Great sound! Love the first and third valve spit keys too. Third valve trigger is easy to operate. It is a beautiful horn... intonation is great!
My son just invested in his first trumpet and a big thanks to Bennett at Schilke for hooking him up. These trumpets are not easy to come by, however Bennett was up-to-speed with Schilke’s production and nation-wide shipment schedules and he took the time to coordinate a trial at a music store most local to us. It was totally worth the wait. He also took the time to educate us on all the trumpet lines that Schilke has to offer. My son plays both jazz and symphony in high school and ended up with the B5. He LOVES it and it seems to be taking his playing to a whole new level. To hear it, you would know why. I highly recommend working with Schilke if you are in the market...read full review
