I feel very happy after going to this barber shop yesterday to get ready for my IPA (Illinois Principals Association) student breakfast, which will be coming up. Unfortunately, I do not know the barber’s name, but he was very quick! I was mind-blown by how he was able to switch between tools, and he lined up my hair perfectly! I would love to come back to get ready for my 8th grade graduation!
Nice vibe and the music creates a good experience. I looking forward to my next visit. Big shout-out to the lady with the Red hair. You got me together before my big event. My hats off to you.
Due to it being a holiday (Juneteenth), I experienced cancellations from two other barbers the day of my visit. At the time, it seemed as though there were none available in Chicago, but surely enough Ij's Cuts Barbershop was open. Via Booksy, I booked an appointment with Vito, and drove to Melrose Park all the way out from the west-side of Chicago after experiencing those two cancellations. Ij's Cuts Barbershop sits within a small strip of businesses along a trafficky North Ave. With the shop being a shared barber space, the vibe felt very lively with music blaring and commotion amongst barber to barber, and client to barber. I always pull up my desired haircut via Booksy from the barbers' portfolio to give the barber an idea of what I am looking for. Most of the time, it is the rating and pictured haircuts that build the interest for my visit. I noticed that Vito confirms what you are looking for prior to moving on to any portions of your hair. He is professional, sociable, funny, and puts genuine effort into his work. And he did a great job cutting my hair in spite of me booking within hours of my visit. I would gladly book Vito from Ij's Cuts Barbershop again in the future because of all the aforementioned. I most definitely recommend it, if you are looking for the same.
