I do not recommend Dr Chitwood even though he was recommended to me! He is very serious and does not say much at the appointments. Every concern I had regarding my son he said “it’s normal” Recently, I took my son in to get his head evaluated because it is visibly flat and after examining for less than a minute he said he would grow out of it and he’s been doing this for 30 years. I was NOT happy with his response so I went for a second opinion and turns out he needs a helmet. I was also told this problem would not have corrected on its own. Had I not trusted my mom instincts my son would have been affected. The staff is wonderful that is the only positive!

Chitwood is horrible. We took my son in multiple times because he was having stomach troubles. I asked if it could be the formula he was on. Chitwood repeated every time no it’s not that. My child would scream for hours. Eventually I saw another pediatrician and explained everything. I asked if it could be the formula. She said I guarantee it’s the formula. Discussed a change and what do ya know...my kid is fine. It was the formula. Chitwood won’t talk to you. He talks at you. I would never recommend him to anyone

I have 3 children that see Dr. Chitwood. I have no problem making appointments when needed. A couple times in 5 years he was not available or not there and they were able to get me in to see Dr. Karna instead and she was very nice. I’ve had no issues and I am pretty happy taking my kids there.
