They key is they ideally match the caregiver to their client's personalities. Our caregiver just worked out perfectly. I would not trade her for the world.

I love FirstLight because they take care of my mother's needs in a way that helps my sister and me feel so much better about our mom living by herself. Mom is getting very weak from a chronic disease and can no longer push the vacuum around and clean her house properly. So her caregiver from FirstLight comes two days a week to do things like clean house, do laundry, and cook with Mom. What this does for Mom is keep her from dragging the laundry basket up and down the basement stairs where she has taken spills before FirstLight came to help. Her caregiver helps her with her favorite activity of cooking and baking for which Mom doesn't have the strength anymore. Now she can cook nutritious meals and bake her favorite treats with the help of her FirstLight caregiver. And the house is sparkling now that it gets regular attention from Mom's caregiver. We are extremely happy with FirstLight of McHenry!
