“I wrote a review about a year ago. I thought I would try Bar nails again. After trying several other nail salons in the area. I have found it has changed for the BETTER. The prices are pretty reasonable for the sevices offered. A few technicians are very friendly. I have not had a problem getting a appointment, and being on time! A recommendation, if you have a appointment get there at least 10 minutes to pick out a nail color. If not you are searching for a color at the table! Which is difficult. I will continue to go Bar Nails at this time. One last thing, if you like OPI products they no longer carry that brand. But, do have a good selection of colors. Thank you.“

“Jesse creates a warm and cozy environment for her clients, but can sometimes seem a little clique-ish with gossip and complaining about other clients while you’re waiting…she often runs 15-20 minutes late on appointments, and can overbook on occasion, which can extend your time there. Has limited hours and it’s very difficult to get appointments if you don’t book them out far in advance.
Seems to prefer younger clients that want services like hair extensions and expensive color services vs. clients that need some every day maintenance cuts and touch ups. I was really trying not to feel this, but I couldn’t help but feel a sense of ageism because she often talked about referring clients over a certain age to hairstylists that specialize in “older hair”. Anytime there might be a bit of a creative difference of opinion or if someone complained, she seemed quick to refer them to other stylists.
She does good color work, average haircutting skills, admittedly says she’s not great at cutting and blending bangs.

If you’re below the age of 40 and want luxury hair coloring services and extensions, you’ll love studio undone. If you’re a little older and not regularly getting those services, you might feel more like a courtesy appointment until it’s time for her to refer you on to another stylist.“
