Frustration!!!! After The Storage Manager Company emptied out my storage unit without cause. The storage unit was Vincennes Self Storage at 709 S 13th Street.. Took all of my parents things. The company has absolutely shown no culpability or responsibility for their actions. They have not compensated me for anything. I wonder how many people they have done this to. The atmosphere at The Barbershop is unbeatable. You feel so relaxed and comfortable as soon as you walk in. It has a classic feel and you’re surrounded by books of every genre. Jerry is a great listener and conversationalist, so you’ll feel at ease letting all your troubles go! I admit, Jerry is my grandpa so I might be a little biased ? My brother got his first haircut here (so he can do kids too) and he every one after that until my brother moved away for college. We spent a lot of our childhood hanging out at The Barbershop, and he’s a staple of the community as he’s been here for over 30 years. Plus, you know you’ll walk away happy with his 60+ years of experience. 10/10 suggest ❤️
I have long, naturally-graying hair which had gotten kind of wiry and untamed. Alex was recommended by a friend, and I"m so glad I saw her! I told her my hair goals (soft, straight, and shiny like before I had my grays, but didn't want to cover them), and she said "no problem." Soft, straight, and shiny is exactly what I got! Whatever she did made my wiry Bride-of-Frankenstein grays nice and soft and sooooo shiny! I highly, highly recommend Alex to anyone, but especially anyone who wants to retain their grays, but get back the shiny, smooth, healthy hair feel. I can't wait for my next appointment!!!!

I went there for the first time today and I can't say enough good things about Angie. She took her time and was so painstakingly diligent, spending hours perfecting exactly what I asked for. I went somewhere else in town and they didn't do what I asked for, but Angie took her time correcting it and was just as happy as I was with the result. It cost a little more than what I would have paid elsewhere, but it was so worth it. She was excellent.

You guys should make a huge sign that says “NO WALK INS ALOUD- PLEASE MAKE APPOINTMENT BY CALLING OR GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ARTISTS ONLINE” I mean I understand it might be funny watching/hearing people come in and wait there for an hour waiting to be assisted at your shop, but it’s a little unnecessary. The art is sick, but you guys could probably afford a secretary since we can’t really just “stop by and see what you offer” per what is says on y’all’s website - see attached photo.
My basement was flooded because the sump pump was not working correctly. That was my guess, and it was Saturday, and cats and dogs were raining outside. Then I called Hollister. The lady doubted that someone could get me because of their overwhelming situation. So I called John after getting the reference from my realtor, and then he responded very quickly and sent a plumber with a new pump, and I appreciate the quick response from John. So it was a 10-minute job for the Plumber to replace the sump pump when they charged me $535. This is overpriced for a city like Macomb based on income level. The people are in this city. I hope they will realize the pricing for a small town like Macomb and the residents, but I’m happy for getting a solution from them quickly, and thanks, John again.

Dan Clark has been a huge help on several of my home renovation projects. Historically I would just flex seal all my problems and call it a day. Dan has taught me that there is so much more that can be done! Like a wizard he changed a water valve in my refrigerator and restored my water and ice machine. He helped paint my basement after a remodel and also is a master of trim work. He is easy to work with and is rarely late. Also, the other part of his business, the Asian restaurant, is mighty tasty. I had an emergency with my pup and they were the only local veterinary office that was willing to see her! I am so thankful for the Dr and staff as they took great care of my fur baby!
We recently transferred to All Pets after our long-time vet moved on. We have two senior pups. We were very nervous about changing after 10 plus years with our previous vet. The transition was a relief after trying out another vet prior. We recently lost one of our sweet little girls. The staff was kind, and prompt with our needs. Most notably, Debbie. I can not thank her and the rest enough for softening the heartache.
