I recently purchased a home and found water in the basement. CWP came out and diagnosed the issue, provided recommendations and scheduled the work. When they arrived onsite they were professional and efficient and provided regular updates on progress and next steps.
My basement is completely dry and I know a lot about drain tiles and sump pumps.

Jay was the representative who came out to my home today. He was extremely detailed in his investigation as well as patience. He listened to what our concern was and he searched to find a solution. Not only did he find and fix the leak, but he noticed some additional items that need attention or could become a problem later down the line. Jay L was a lifesaver. We were without heat during the recent cold snap where night temps were in the single digits. We had previously received two readings from two different sources informing us that we had two gas leaks, one was major the other was a minor leak. For safety reasons, the gas was turned off early Sunday morning and we were left in the cold. After unsuccessfully trying to obtain the services of two other companies to fix the problem, I called Clear Water.
I don’t remember the secretary’s name who took the call, but she was very friendly and extremely helpful. She patiently listened to me explain the situation. However, she didn’t have anyone available at that time, but promised to call me if anything changed. I was surprised when she actually called a few hours later even if was to say that nothing had changed. I called back the next day. I told the secretary the plumber we found was scheduled to do the work but told us he was going out of town for the next five days. That was his response knowing that we had no heat! She seemed stunned and said she was going to get me some help — and she did!
Jay L showed up the next day. Instead of piggybacking the previous reports of gas leaks and cutting pipes, Jay L went about his business of independently testing and assessing the situation. He was thorough and patient and checked appliances throughout the house including the meter outside. He even noted that the spring valve was not the safest for the stove. We asked him to change it to a safer one and he did. At the end of his inspection, Jay L concluded that there weren’t any gas leaks as reported earlier. At that point, we were a bit upset but Jay L neutralized the situation by patiently answering our questions. After Jay L left, we called the gas company to have the gas turned on. The serviceman arrived that day. I informed him that Jay L didn’t find the gas leaks as reported by the other serviceman. After his inspection, the serviceman also reported that he couldn’t find any gas leaks and had no explanation as to how the other serviceman concluded there were two gas leaks. That’s still a mystery.
Thanks to Jay L, our gas is on! And we’re warm and blessed. I wish I could leave more stars because both Jay L and Clear Water’s secretary deserves them. Happy Holidays!
