I really enjoy the experience and appreciate that I can ask a question or two. I’ve never had an issue and I’ve been around for years. I always walkout with a smile and a great cut. I only suggest nose/ear wax with your Varsity cut.

I have been having my haircut by Ornela at this Sports clips for about 10 years. She is the best, fun to talk to and the quality of the haircuts are great.

Simply put, Ornela is great. I'm hesitant to let anyone else touch my hair. She understands that there are a variety of hair textures and adapts deftly to what is before her. And she's unfailingly kind in the process, listening to her clients' many ramblings and offering wisdom in return. I wish there were more than 5 stars to offer.

I have been going to this Sports clips for about 10 years. The quality of the haircuts is excellent. The price is reasonable, particularly with season tickets sold in blocks of 6. The stylists are knowledgeable and friendly. You can choose the first available or your favorite. All of them are good but I have preferred Ornela for some time now. She is personable, funny, and easy to converse with.

I'm so torn on this review, because I hate to slam an establishment for one employee I interacted with, but it was the complete opposite experience I've had when compared to every other Sport Clips location I've ever been to, AND THE ABSOLUTE WORST HAIRCUT I'VE EVERY RECEIVED.
Never have I walked into a Sport Clips and felt like my business wasn't wanted. I sat down with Libby and she couldn't even be bothered to reorient the chair to face the mirror. I literally had my hair cut while being forced to stare at the gentlemen next to me. At no point during the entire visit was there any effort to rotate my field of view to see the mirror, have a more direct view of the nearest TV, or even ask if I was ok with the direction of the haircut. I had to turn my head 80 degrees just to see my reflection at a semi-direct angle.
Unfortunately, I can't comment to Libby's technique (or lack there of) as I couldn't see what she was doing, but upon completion smock was thrown to side getting my freshly cut hair so over my shoes and pants. The hair wash was the only redeeming factor in that it wasn't completely horrible. I don't mind a more aggressive technique, but for those who prefer a soothing experience, this wouldn't be for you.
On return to the chair, you guessed it, still facing the guy next to me. I can only comment that I know what has to be done to cut my hair and I only experienced a fraction of it. Once Libby was done she finally asked if everything was ok (still not turning the chair or offering a have mirror to give view of the back of my head), and on quick inspection I noticed how lop sided the hair cut was, how poorly the fade was done, and how little she understood about what a good hair cut should look like. The entire time I told myself I was willing to excuse the poor demeanor and manners if the cut was good, but I wasn't expecting something I could (and have) done better myself. There was a clump of hair missing on the left side. The right side of cut was shorter than the left, following more to the contour of my head where the left side was simply floating around in limbo. The fade had a very hard edge on the sides which I wouldn't even consider a fade.
Thankfully there was a Sport Clips a couple miles down the road, in Glen Ellyn, where they are more in line with what I've come to expect, that did an amazing job fixing the mop I was left with. I'd recommend that location any time, especially if Libby is on staff here
