I found Showanda through a Google search and decided to give her a try — I’ve been going to her ever since! She is hands down the best nail tech I’ve ever had. Not only is she incredibly nice and welcoming, but she’s also extremely knowledgeable about nail care and always takes the time to explain things if I have questions. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she’s very efficient with her time. I used to struggle with polish chipping just days after a manicure, but since going to Showanda, my polish lasts for weeks. I always leave loving my nails. I found this place by googling nail salons near me and saw all the five star reviews so decided to schedule an appointment. I also saw it was a black owned business which was different from the other salons listed and definitely knew I should check it out. You can only book appointments online and Showanda’s the owner and only nail tech. The deposit is reasonable and all the rules are listed on the website in a very transparent manner. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and told to choose my color. She’s very honest and helpful when it comes to nail care and styling, and she constantly checks in on you during the process. Showanda was so kind, and so educational about how to better care for my nails! Will definitely be back with some length for those acrylics! Seriously, 10/10. Professional, personable, funny, and incredibly helpful.
