I was worried after reading some of the other reviews about this delivery service but my experience was an overall positive one. Here was my experience: my delivery was scheduled for the week of 06/08, then changed to 06/06. Originally, the time for the delivery was from the hours 8:30-11:30 am, but it was changed the day before the delivery to 10:00-1:00 pm. The delivery occured on 06/06 at 10:30 so it was time on and within the original delivery time frame. I was very pleased with this as I was worried it may arrive late based on some previous reviews. The actual delivery itself was perfectly fine and went smoothly. Zero complaints there.
My issue is that the communication within this company and with its customers is atrocious. I got an email telling me to schedule an appointment, so I did. The day of the appointment, I got a call at 7:30AM telling me my delivery was cancelled because they didn’t even have the items to be delivered. Couldn’t have told me that at least the day before? I had already taken the day off work and planned my day around this delivery. Anyway, I went ahead and rescheduled to a different day.

Excellent. They delivered a heavy coffee table to my home in NW Indiana today. The two drivers were both polite, arrived within the 3 hour time frame, and called within 30 minutes of arrival. The product arrived undamaged. Would definitely use Metropolitan again in the future. Thank you!!!
