“Greetings to ALL,
When was the last time you had a GREAT TIME at the dentist...... I mean serously.......when was the last time you said it was fun....felt like you could not wait to go back to the dentist.....maybe when you were three or four years old. That was the last time it was fun for me.
Well I am here to say that going to the dentist can be a fun experience. Now in saying this I have always been a guy who always took care of his teeth. Yet it always a lousy time when I got my teeth clean up.
Now if you still reading this.....and believing every single word I am say I need to share this with you....and this is what made MY FIRST VISIT so great. My hygienist, Susan started out and very carefully gave me a gum massage. This was the first time I have ever.....ever....and ever had a gum massage. It felt great and that great great feeling kept feeling better and better as I had all the bad stuff removed. When Susan would spray my month, the feeling of soft easy flowing water across my was so relaxing.....it felt GREAT!!.
Susan took her time and did not rush it. This is key......gums are sensitive and I think this massaging technique might be critical for a positive patient - hygienst - dental great experience. With prior hygients this pre operative protocol is often rushed.
After Susan was done I then had my oral review with Dr. Mohindra who is a first generation Syrian. She reviewed my x-rays and did a few pokes and said all was good. However I should say one must also be astute in taking care of their teeth.
So as I round up this summary, if you still looking for a dentist and you still are having agonizing thoughts about having to find another dentist I strongly suggest SMILES......and have some fun at your next dental visit. As I close out I say thanks again to all those at SMILES.....it was a great time!”
