“Tucked away in the Deerfield's Sach's Recreation Center (the same mall as the DMV), is Rush's PT facility. (Simply enter Sachs Center, & you'll be directed. I'm due to have arthroscopic back surgery (L5S1) and will be doing pre/post PT with Rush staff. They are amazing. There's an intentional interest in your needs. I was fortunate to get "Julie" (DOT, CDNT, LSVT, & center manager) as therapist. She listened carefully to my injury details, & symptoms, with the patience of an angel. All was so well explained. Her diagnostic was wonderfully thorough and results discussed. She has an outgoing, warm, nature making me glad I'd selected a Rush neurosurgeon (Dr. Richard Fessler), and landed here with Julie. “I started going to Inertia back in mid October because of a neck and lower back injury, hoping to get back some sort of quality of life, pain free!! I started working with Dr. Seyller received breathing exercises and stretches to improve the areas that were causing pain and difficulties of doing everything days. With the training and exercises she gave me to do, I was starting to feel better within the first 2 weeks. After a month (4 visits) I was able to do simple things like shop for groceries with out having to lean on the shopping cart and sleep a better night because of the numbness in my right arm I dealt with for years. “I live in the SW suburbs but was with my granddaughter and couldn't get back to my chiropractor in Oak Brook until the next day. I was in extreme pain (C5 was out, exacerbated by a bowling outing with the gdaughter). I called several chiropractic offices, Dr. Tom Godbout's wife was sympathetic and he was miraculously available. Palmer-education/training was a bonus, and his wonderful adjustment enabled me to continue to take care of the gdaughter for an overnight stint, and get to my massage therapist for further relief. The C5 subluxation and resulting pain were so bad, it's still twingy two weeks later, but being able to be treated by Dr. Tom to start the healing process was a godsend, and he and his wife were amazing. If I'm ever up north and need to see someone, he'd be my go-to.“
