The Lakehouse Tattoo

My friends and I came in for their Valentine’s Day Flash special, and it was so seamless and efficient! The staff were extremely warm and inviting. This place is amazing, and I highly recommend for any of your tattoo needs.

My daughter and I came into Lakehouse Tattoo to get matching tattoos, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kayla did such an incredible job tattooing us back to back, and she even took the time to touch up some of our other tattoos while we were there.
Kayla is not only insanely talented, but she’s also so sweet, warm, and welcoming. She had us laughing to the point of tears and made the whole experience genuinely fun and enjoyable. From start to finish, we felt comfortable, cared for, and completely at ease.
I’ve been looking for a tattoo artist here in Illinois, and I can confidently say I’ve finally found my artist. Thank you so much, Kayla — we’ll definitely be back!

I honestly can’t believe I haven’t left a review for this place yet. I mean I didn’t fully investigate my reviews. But HOLY COW MAN, this place is incredible. I’ve been here I wanna say around 5 MAYBE 6 times Let’s start with the staff, I’m almost positive I have not met everyone. The lakehouse has grown since I’ve been there last. I can say with certainty the staff I have met are incredibly nice and wonderful and nonjudgmental. I’ve been around so to speak when it comes to getting tattoos. It took me a hot minute to find THE ONE, and his name is Rob. His watercolor works are top notch. In general his work is the best. I’ve gone to him with ideas (words) or a picture of an art piece or someone else’s work and said, this is what I like, how can we spin this into something totally me. And every time he has left me speechless (well not speechless cause I talk his ear off). I have since moved more than hour away from the shop and WILL continue to travel to wherever that man goes, right now that’s The Lakehouse tattoo. I recommend the shop and Rob to EVERYONE who asks about where to go or about my work. 5 stars is not enough for this place and for that man. (the books on my forearm was at a different shop BUT done 100% by Rob, the Pansy may have been at that same shop BUT I don’t remember so, I think it was Lakehouse but mom brain at the moment) Seriously everyone check out The Lakehouse Tattoo everyone is incredible there!

Always have good service here the people are really nice, I’ve been going to Jeff since I was 18, I am now 27 & he remembers the small talk we’ve had over the years, everyone there is welcoming, definitely recommend this place!!

Had a great time at the Friday the 13th event today. I got tattooed by Abby and she was so wonderful. The shop was clean, the event was very organized and the staff was very kind. I will definitely return for more artwork!

Paul was AMAZING!!! I went for a walk in to get something simple and Paul was so helpful made the process so easy and I would 100000% reccomend to a friends and family! Beautiful work and so so so nice!

came in for the first time yesterday and met nicolas and he was the GOAT. i asked for something small and he was super patient and chill. he was super caring and i will definitely be coming back to get tatted by him again.
