LoMastro Performing Arts Academy is a premier dance studio in Lake Forest, Illinois, serving families throughout the North Shore. Since 2007, it has provided structured, curriculum-based training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, acro, and musical theatre. The philosophy prioritizes character and confidence building alongside strong technical development. The staff and teachers are wonderful, skilled, and patient, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued. It is a wonderful place where students not only learn to dance but also grow in confidence, self-expression, and strong friendships. Many families find it to be a great experience from a very young age, with diverse offerings that become a happy place for students.
We have been going to LoMastro since my daughter was 3 years old and now almost 7. The patience, kindness and skill level the teachers have is amazing. She loves being at the studio and it truly is her happy place.

I’ve been very pleased with LoMastro Performing Arts Academy and would highly recommend them. My two daughters dance with more confidence because of the staff’s professionalism and dedication. The instructors make adequate corrections to improve the dancers techniques. Loren LoMastro is very friendly and engaged with student progress. During these times, LoMastro has been very creative in putting together performance opportunities that my daughters have absolutely loved participating in. Teachers are caring and know when to push their students out of their comfort zone. My daughters love attending LoMastro and enjoy their time there greatly.
