100% recommended! Provided an estimate the same day. Started the fence as quickly as they could (had jobs before ours) and were done in 2 days. Kept us up to date about schedule. The crew kept the job site spotless. can't say enough good things!!

I hired Tim and his crew after reading all the good reviews, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We had two scheduled installation timelines, and at the end of both occasions there was a no call, no show. No communication at all, unless I reached out. When I reached out the first time I was told we're still a few weeks out, that's fine, but why not call and tell me. The second time I had to call to find out what was happening, everyone was sick, again I understand but a quick text would have been nice. This was even more frustrating by the fact when Tim wanted his payment he was fantastic with reaching out. (He wanted cash or checks only and we didn't have checks so I had to make a few trips to the ATM and get as much as I could at a time.)
The crew finally showed up about three weeks after the original contract date.This may be just another job for them, but I’m paying over $10,000, and that is a significant investment for my family! Throughout the process, I felt undervalued and brushed aside.
The fence is finished now, so it is what it is, but there are issues that continue to bother me and that's why I decided to write this. The wood fence in the front has a double gate that “fits snug,” but there is no handle or hardware to help open or close it. When I brought this up, Tim said this was standard. Which I believe him, but it is so frustrating to open and close. We have a normal gate on the other side of the fence which has fantastic hardware, but opens to a hill so it doesn't fully open. This is the first fence we have ever purchased (which I made clear that I had no idea what I was doing and needed an experts advice) ,but if the fence just opened the other way on the hill wouldn't it fully open?! In the back, we now have black chain-link fencing and they installed a silver tension wire along the bottom. Black tension wire is available, but we were never given the option. I assumed it would be black to match the fence, which I think is a reasonable expectation.
There was so much mud just left. The mud in the yard I don't mind. A few poles were moved and I understand that will leave muddy spots, but across the driveway is a mess. A flag that marks location was cemented in with a fence pole. It's just little things that keep adding up.
Tim was nice in person every time he came over, and the guys doing the work we're nice as well, but the lack of communication, missed appointments, all the things I mentioned above made this a frustrating and very disappointeing experience.

I’m a landowner in Murphysboro. I called Homeland Fence to see about having a fence installed. They came out and measured, quoted, and suggested something other than what I originally thought I would purchase. They were right. They saved me money and gave me more privacy than I thought possible. They were able to get me on the schedule quickly and in about 1 month time the fence went up! They communicated well and kept me well informed. They installed the posts at the end of the week and were back on Tuesday to install the planks and complete the install. The fence is beautiful and will give years of protection and privacy. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fence. Definitely a 5 star company. ~~Twyla

Tim is by far one of the best contractors in Southern Illinois! He was super responsive and got us quoted and scheduled really quickly (others don't even return calls). And his crew built our custom fence exactly how we wanted and on the exact timeline Tim promised. We've already recommended Homeland to three or four of our friends.

Tim came out the same day. I called him for an estimate. We agreed on what needed to be done and he told me he would be able to install it to the beginning of April. Because weather was so nice he was able to come out and put up the posts March 27 and completed the work March 28. Very pleased.
