I went to this establishment thinking the owner, Dr Kaye, could prescribe me contact and glasses that was accurate. I went back 4 times for a contact adjustment and had my glasses sent back 2 times. After that script didn’t work either, he told an optometrist to keep ‘bringing me in for adjustments’. To make matters worse, the office manager,Linda, told me to bring the glasses back-I would not be welcome to come again and Dr Kaye would ‘never write me another prescription’ after I had spent over $1800 on the new glasses and contacts! Awful customer service—I would never recommend this practice!

I have referred numerous friends to this establishment.
I asked if the doctors treated patients with macular degeneration. I was told, “Yes, they all do.” I accompanied My daughter, a single mom, who suffers from macular degeneration to her appointment. She was given a contact lens prescription as well as a glass prescription. The cost for the exam and glasses was over $1800.
The glasses had to be sent back by the optician 3 times before they came back OK to disburse to my daughter. Since she was wearing the contacts at the time, she was unable to determine if the glasses were working. For the sake of length on this review, I will tell you she went back multiple times every week for approximately 6-8 weeks to have the glasses readjusted. Dr. Kaye told the optician to have her keep coming back for adjustments, instead of addressing the issue that the frames were not working.
The contacts were not working as well. Finally, they sent her to another optometrist in the group, who stated the prescription was all wrong. So, another round of contact lenses (with no offer to be reimbursed for the incorrect first prescription).
Thankfully, that doctor got it right, and the contacts appear to be working.
However, the eyeglass saga continues, with no offer to re-prescribe the lenses, or replace the frame to a more sturdy version.
Finally, upon my suggestion, she said she cannot continue to come in 2-3times a week to get the glasses adjusted— Optician Betty told her to bring the glasses back for a refund and not to come back again!
It amazes me that a doctor who is supposed to HELP people, just says get out. Here is a young girl with a devastating sight issue, who they said they were familiar with treating, gets this sort of treatment.
Never again will I recommend this doctor to anyone in my Del Webb community.

I love this place. It is the only Healthcare provider that isn't late, employees are happy and friendly, unless something drastic happens, I'll be a patient for a long time. And dr. Robertson rocks! She's smart, friendly, thorough and very happy with her services

The doctors are amazing. Thorough and professional.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase glasses from them again though.

Kaye Eye Care of Huntley is amazing. I encountered nonstop itching, irritation, and very red eyes over the Memorial Day weekend. I was in need of immediate care and took a chance and left a message at Kaye Eye Care on Memorial Day. I then received a text that I would receive a call in 15 minutes. Dr Liesl Kaye returned my call within 15 minutes and asked all the right questions. She then advised Dr Preston Kaye would be in the office that afternoon if I chose to visit or first thing Tuesday morning. I, of course, took the opportunity to visit asap that afternoon (Memorial Day). Dr Preston Kaye examined my eyes and prescribed medication along with advice on care for my eyes. He advised someone would call me in the morning for a follow up appointment within 10 days to confirm eyes are improving. I received a call Tuesday morning at 9am. Kaye Eye Care is great. Professional service with great results. My eyes are improving every day.
I highly recommend Kaye Eye Care for all your eye care needs.
If I could give 10 stars I would!
Thank you, Dr. Kaye.

Overall excellent doctors, staff and options for glasses, contacts, etc. When I've ordered glasses and the progressives aren't lining up to my sight line, they redid them without cost. Also, you can bring your own frames and they will complete glasses that way if you don't like the in store frames.

The doctors are amazing but the billing and manager are borderline fraudulent. If you are there for a preventative regular check up and they make any suggestions - do NOT go with any of the suggestions until you are clear on how things are going to be billed. They told us that my husband needed a photo of his optic nerve, and that there would be an extra charge for the picture. Sounds reasonable right? The rest of our family, with our eye care insurance paid a $10 copay for our regular visits. The way the billing person made it sound - it would just be extra for the photo, which I agreed too. Then it turns out they billed the entire visit as a medical visit - slapping me with a $200 bill. $50 was fo the photo - and $150 for the visit.
To make it even more horrible, I don't get a bill until August 2024 when our visits were in December 2023. AND, after calling the office, they told me they would call me back. Well, three weeks later, no call, and instead I just get another bill in the mail - with no new information.
So in the end, they get an extra $140 from my pocket. I very much loved the doctors - my kids have been going here for a few years, but the way they bill, the way they DID NOT explain it, and then completely are not taking responsibility for it has left me completely shocked, and I have no trust in them at all now. How do I know if any of their suggestions in the future are not just monetarily motivated.
