A couple years ago I started growing my hair long again but it's thick kinky. So I was unable to wear it down because it stick out so much away from my head it looked I hadn't done anything to it. So several months ago I went into Great Clips on Halsted St in Homewood to get a trim. I sat down in the chair & the beautician asked me what shampoo I use. Because my hair is so extremely dried out. I told what I had been using & she told that was my problem. I didn't a dandruff shampoo it was totally stripping all the moisture out of my hair. I have been going to Great Clips in Homewood for 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else ! I have never been happier to see my favorite stylist after 3 months of No haircuts due to Covid 19! Social distancing kept me from hugging Isaiah and all I could do was sit in that chair and just let him work his magic to give me the look that I wanted. We had a nice conversation and he was worth every bit of 13.00 ( I love being a good listener and I opened my heart with a very generous tip. God has blessed me in many ways and it's nice to bless others when they work hard . Love my hairdresser ISAIAH!!!!

The staff are friendly and always put my son at ease. The cuts he gets are pretty basic but they do a good job making sure it's even and always check with me as they're going to make sure it's what I want.
