I have been going to Illinois Eyecare Center for over ten years. I used to see Dr Morgan but he retired. I then started to see Dr Assell.Dr Assell is very nice, personable and I feel comfortable with him. When I was new to contacts, I got a few samples to try at home. Each year Dr Assell seems to know my eyes and if adjustments are needed with my prescription. The office has a large selection of designer frames. The staff is always friendly. Luckily I have VSP insurance because glasses and contacts can be expensive.
I had a wonderful experience at Illinois Eye Care Center! Dr. Thakkar is the best optometrist I've ever worked with and I will definitely return for her. She made some wonderful recommendations and the billing department helped me get it all billed to my medical insurance because of the needs I had.She then referred me to Dr. Assell for scleral lenses. Dr. Assell was great to work with as well. Very knowledgeable, very friendly.
Dr Assell was wonderful with my 6 year old during her exam. He made the appointment fun and is great with kids! I have been going to the practice for over 10 years and have always had the best experience as well!
