Wheaton Eye Clinic of Hinsdale

For 15 years I have been seeing double when driving, so I would drive with one eye closed. For 15 years I’ve been going to get my eyes examined, to be told I needed to replace a cataract. For 14 years, the eye doctor would say not ready yet, and be at a loss why I see double. Enter Wheaton Clinic. She examined my eyes and tested my vision. Added prisms to my prescription. Just got the glasses in today. And for the first time in 15 years I drove with both eyes open! Great vision. Thank you!!

My visit at Wheaton eye clinic was excellent, with Dr. Gieser glaucoma specialist. I also had the pleasure of meeting Margarita at the eye wear dept, had a few questions about eyewear, she was very thorough and explained everything to me. Very polite and kind. Wheaton eye clinic is the best has some of the great doctors. I give it a 5 star. I will not go anywhere else .

We had a pediatric appointment at 8AM on a Saturday morning and waited for 2 hours before seeing the doctor. A wait like that on a weekend morning isn’t a bad day, it’s bad management. We won’t be going back. It’s just unreasonable to expect patients to wait that long.

I normally visit the Wheaton location for my annual Diabetic eye exam, but due to an insurance delay, the first available appointment with my doctor was in Hinsdale. Overall, the experience was excellent. All members of the staff were friendly and very professional, including those at reception and those conducting prescreening testing. I arrived, checked in, and the wait time before being called to start prescreening testing was acceptable. Once the appointment was underway, things ran smoothly with very little waiting time between the various tests, as well as the final visit with my ophthalmologist, Dr. Kaushal. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kaushal. She is very professional, and is able to communicate in a way that is not off putting. In other words, she has a great personality. She possesses a fine sense of humor (there is nothing worse than a doctor who is a walking text book spewing clinical information. Believe me, I'll understand the clinical text book talk, but that sort of approach will bore me to no end. Yawn.), which is key for me. Dr. Kaushal is an excellent ophthalmologist - knowledgeable, professional and personable. And, as I said previously, I found the staff at the Hinsdale location friendly, professional and very competent. Highly recommended. The end.

I had a great experience with Wheaton Eye Clinic and Dr. Blankshain. Everyone from the administrative team, to the technicians, to Dr. Blankshain were all incredibly friendly and professional, and had quick and detailed answers to all of my questions. Dr. Blankshain knew her stuff and shared not only the treatment plan for my condition but also why she recommended it and the likely outcomes. I highly recommend both Dr. Blankshain and Wheaton Eye Clinic.

Dr. Price is the best!! I was his last patient 5:55pm he did not rush the appointment. He helped my family and I feel so safe under a stressful time of health problems. Thank you! 5 stars is not enough!!!!! The best!!
