    Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery was established in 1901. It has many exquisite and beautiful tombs, grave markers, and grand obelisks. Of note of the famous people buried here are actor Dennis Farina, Al Capone and family, Frank 'the enforcer ' Nitti, Sam Giancana, Dean O'Banion, and Hymie Weiss.
