“We completed a major home remodeling project with LaMantia recently and are thrilled with the result. They did a beautiful job and were a pleasure to work with!

We were especially impressed with our designer, Jackie (and her assistant Katie). They had fantastic ideas: from designing the overall layout, to help in choosing materials, to even how to paint a difficult area to enhance the design. One of the unique parts of our project was the desire to keep some beautiful existing components (specifically some cabinetry, stone countertops, bamboo woodwork and a sauna) but move them to new locations. Jackie did an excellent job in designing that arranging.

We lived onsite throughout the project, so we were able to see the process “up close and personal”. All of the construction personnel from LaMantia and subcontractors they used were very skilled and personable. Our project manager, Mike R, kept us informed on progress and who was coming each day. The initial schedule was “almost” met. We got delayed by lighting and electric (more our fault than theirs) in the middle, but they did a great job of an extra push to make sure a critical section was usable prior to a wedding brunch we were hosting.

“We have now worked with Strategem for two separate projects (updating an entire two bedroom and two bathroom condo, including refinishing the flooring) and have been very happy. This was a significant investment, but we are extremely happy we made it and choose Habitar/Strategem. We found the process from start to finish to be very transparent and clearly communicated. Process and cost: Mitch was very clear up front with the range of costs for the projects and both the estimate and final billing included details of both materials and labor. This allowed for clear communication about costs and options for ways to reduce cost and what we could expect from the change to our plan.

Construction: The team on-site each time communicated clearly about the timeline and progress, when certain things would occur and orchestrated all of the pieces of the process for us, including the movers when it was time to refinish the floors. When something unexpected came up, they communicated with us about options and expectations of the result. If we wanted something changed, they modified it until we were happy with the result.

“Best in the business! As a Facility Manager at an entertainment venue under construction. One of many assignments I was elected to engage, was creating the punch list for the trades. Huen Electric being 1 out of 12 different trades. Their installation from transformer, power station, several hundred programmable LED light fixtures, as well as Miles of cable running through a three story 27° radius venue, had little to no corrections. At this particular build it’s not uncommon that we purchased all of our material. This venue is a high-end LEED certified building. Some of the material that was engineered clearly was counter productive. If Scott White just followed his scope of work we would’ve never obtained the acceptable score needed to win our LEED certification. Scott White was able to make all the necessary corrections. Scott kept me in the loop every step of the way, and I was never invoiced an additional penny. After this venue was awarded the LEED certification. I mentioned Huen Electric as being a major contributor. Scott continued to honor all warranty issues that included most failures being of sub-par material. I’ve worked several new construction sites thru my 25 years. Having Scott White representing Huen Electric and all the IBEW brother’s and sister’s that utilize their skill-set.
