My mother's health had been declining rapidly and was unable to take care of herself, and I didn't live anywhere near her. The doctors recommended a nursing home, but she refused and wanted to stay at home. Making the best out of bad situation, I arranged to have 24/7 at-home care. I feel like I chose correctly when I picked Nancy's home care. Nothing is ever perfect, but the team they assembled exceeded my expectations, and I knew that could have been rough based on my mother's personality and my distance.I felt my mother was well taken care of, the caregivers showed my Mom real affection, and treated her like family.
