Haircut was fine, but being lectured because I referred to a fictitious person as a hippie was more than I was ready for. If I come someplace for a haircut I'm looking for light conversation not to do a verbal version of mortal combat. I believe the stylist took umbrage with my use of the term hippie. She was young and I don't believe she even knows what a hippie is but I think that for some reason she found my use of the term extremely offensive. The term hippie is not considered by most to be a derogatory term. I know because I grew up in the '60s with hippies and was one and never considered the term offensive ever. I have had the same stylist the past two time and she does an excellent job. Hair cut and a beard clip. Takes the time to give just what you want. Will continue going to great clips in Grayslake, IL.
I have received excellent haircuts and appreciate the time the stylists spend listening to how I want my hair to look. Outstanding experience with Dawn and have seen Kaleen many times in the past. My son has also had great cuts with Kiersten. So convenient to check in remotely. Convenient hours.
