The studio is such a nice, calm place. Lovely, heated wood floors. The instructors are top notch and make you feel very comfortable whether you are an experienced yogi or just starting.
It was my 9 year old son’s first full yoga class ever. He was very apprehensive and tried to convince me to send him to basketball or cycling instead. He tried it just to know how it feels and so that he can see that stretching and relaxing consciously is not just for “girls on pink yoga mats, who wear tight sexy pants” (that’s who practices yoga according to a 9 year old boy)
As a recent transplant to Glenview, my biggest fear was finding a new yoga sanctuary to call my new "home". Having a boyfriend who grew up here proved to be my stepping stone into my new retreat --Samadhi yoga. At Samadhi, I've had the privilege of practicing with some of the most spiritual and knowledgeable teachers I could hope for. Not to mention the welcome and support I feel each time I walk in the door. Thank you Samadhi. I look forward to many more classes and future retreats with you all!!! Namaste
