Geoff is such an honest and careful craftsman. I had an 80 year old lock that broke causing the door to be locked shut. Geoff came out and carefully took out the broken pieces of the lock and opened the door. He then offered to try and source a replacement latch (not easy given the age of the lock).
He is clearly a skilled craftsman. I would highly recommend him and will be using him for any future issues
This regarding a recent experience with AAA Lock (Glenview - Waukegan Rd), Wed 12/20/2023.I brought a key in to AAA lock, for them to make a duplicate. They made a duplicate key, I brought it home and - it did not work.I brought the key back to the store, told the counter person that the key did not work, and they made another for me. I brought the key home, put it into the lock set and . . . it got stuck - and it would not come out.I called the store and had a phone conversation with them, explaining that the key was stuck in the lock set.Geoff, the owner . . . immediately drove to my home, in it in his service truck - and corrected... read full review
Definitely check with AAA before going to the dealer for cutting and programming car keys. Had two different keys cut (Ford and Jeep). Fraction of the dealer cost, was in/out in less than 10 minutes, plus they also took the time to explain how the chipping works. A+, highly recommend.
