I have been a customer for more than 10 years. Even through the changes in their ownership, I have always been very pleased with the quality of their workmanshp. I am short. And, they have successfully altered many of the off the rack items in my wardrobe. They also provided excellent advice on what to look for to minimize costly alterations and maximize a custom fit end result. At times they are very busy--especially during the holidays and prom season. So, plan to allow two weeks or longer for turn around time. Their pricing is very fair, but not cheap. They do not accept credit or debit cards. Be sure to check their hours before you show up as they do sometimes change.... read full review

At 1st I assumed they just bought new pants to give me. Then I was pretty sure it was witchcraft of some sort. Either way the 2 damaged pair of pants look and are holding up good as new.

Currently 8 months pregnant and needed a bridesmaid dress altered to fit my growing bump. Glen Ellyn Tailor Shop was able to get it all done in just 1 week and it fits perfectly!! They do beautiful work and are so friendly. Thank you so much!!
