“First off, if you're reading this review, my condolences. With that said, I was very pleased with the service that Rux provided when my father passed away last year. They were efficient, responsive, and polite. I can't speak to how they handle consolation, because that wasn't what I wanted or needed at that point. My father passed away in Chicago, and was buried in Kewanee, while I live out of state. I wanted someone to handle the logistics, so I didn't have to worry about that, and could just spend time with my mother, and Rux did that admirably. They would have been happy to provide the casket, but gave absolutely no pushback whatsoever when I chose to obtain it myself. I never felt in any way pressured by any sort of upsell, which I've certainly heard can be a problem with funeral homes in general. Overall, I was very pleased with their service, and strongly endorse them.”
