Face & Company Facial Bar - TEMPORARILY CLOSED

I bought a gift certificate directly from the website and now the phone number is no longer active. It says “Temporarily closed” online. At this point how do I receive a refund?

They don’t answer the phone ever, left several messages because their online system to book appointments had absolutely nothing available and I had already paid in Groupon. They say they don’t answer phones because they have an online booking system (that doesn’t work) and they do listen o the messages but don’t return the calls. They have a mean attitude and terrible customer service. I needed to asking for Groupon credit instead of actually issuing it. I had to go twice in person just to waste my time and not be treated kindly

Services rendered: Classic facial, dermaplane, gua sha massage

Positives:
- Appointment began on time and facility was clean
- My service provide was personable and provided a pleasant experience explaining each step along the way

Cons:
- Derma planing is usually performed with a surgical steel grade scalpel that can be properly cleaned and sanitized and has the ability to remove the top layer of dead skin and peach fuzz. My service was performed with a vibrating facial razor which I’m not sure how it could be properly cleaned and sanitized as the blade is attached to the handle. This tool only removed the peach fuzz from my face and after the service my skin still had the dry areas I sought to remove with the service I ended up using a clean facial razor and rose hip oil once I was home and removed the dry skin myself improving my texture. In this regard I don’t feel like derma planing should be offered if the service is not going to be done correctly especially since it comes at an additional cost
- I expected them to use professional grade skin care products but I noticed products from “the ordinary” brand being used which I do not use as apart of my skin care routine
- I’ve received gua sha services in the past and it’s usually done with decent pressure as it is used to drain lymphatic fluid and increase blood circulation this service felt very light and I didn’t feel much of the usual effects after the service

Ashley was AHH-mazing!! She was very professional and very gentle with my facial & facial cupping. I enjoyed every second of it. I will be a returning customer. Establishment was very chic, clean, and had lots of available parking. Thanks again Ashley!!♡

Ashley is amazing...professional, CLEAN and quick. I called her Friday and she was able to squeeze me in bc she had a no-show, too bad for them!!! Can't wait to try some of her othe services!!!
