Can taste anything before you buy it. My personal favorites are the aged balsamic, pomegranate balsamic and lemon balsamic. I don't use a lot of the upscale olive oils, so I like to try a new one every time I go. Do NOT miss going down the street to the Spice House - the SH actually talked them into opening in Evanston because they were familiar with them from Old Town. Review their websites before you go, and I still guarantee that you will need a lot of browsing time in both stores.

This olive oil literally changes the game of your cooking. No need for dressings anymore - all you need is one of the infused oils. The shop owner is very helpful and friendly as well! If you have the money to spend on this olive oil, it’s truly worth it.

This wonderful little shop has the best flavored olive oils and vinegars. We first discovered them at the Evanston Farmer’s Market and have really enjoyed the selection since. My husband’s favorite is to put harissa olive oil on rice and the basil olive oil is great with tomatoes and avocados. If you get on their mailing list they have specials every now and then. Highly recommend this place!
